The professional & high performing payroll team are situated within the People & Culture services team. This included all cross-function of the employee life cycle: Recruitment; Learning & Development; HR Administration; Compensation & Benefits. The team are extremely collaborative & connected. There is parity across the group - payroll is regarded as an essential component of the company's brand & employee experience.
**The Role**
- End to end fortnightly payroll of a minimum of 500 employees
- Annual leave & overtime calculations
- Preparation of Leave Accruals
- Management of Payroll Masterdata
- Creation of Payroll Reports
- Month End & Year End Reconciliations utilising Chris 21
- Processing of leave requests and monitoring of leave accruals.
- Manual and termination payment calculations
- Ad hoc monthly payroll reports in collaboration with the HRIS team
- Fortnightly Payroll reconciliations
- Strong emphasis on customer service when managing key business stakeholders and employee queries
- Superannuation calculations & reconciliations
- PAYG reconciliations and payments
- Payroll tax reconciliations and payments
You will have proven ability in processing a high volume payroll in a large, complex organisation with strong knowledge of Award Interpretation, & key third party institutions. You will be an exceptional communicator to resolve queries with a seamless & precise methodology, with a focus on a positive employee experience.
The Payroll Manager is also a super user of Chris 21, and an exceptional mentor who identifies & elevates the strengths of her team members.
