**About the Role**:
Join our team as a Grade 2 Dietitian, 0.6 EFT, fixed-term to 8th December 2025 (parental leave replacement) in our dynamic team based at the Victorian Heart Hospital.

At the Victorian Heart Hospital Nutrition and Dietetics provides services across the patient’s continuum of care including acute care, rehabilitation and prevention. Regular after-hours work (evenings to 9pm) is required to facilitate the cardiac rehabilitation program. The position offers the rare opportunity to be dynamic and practice dietetics across the care continuum every day. Nutrition and Dietetics service critical care, public and private wards, provide individual consultations and group facilitation for cardiac rehabilitation group programs and actively participate in research and quality projects. The Nutrition and Dietetics team at the Victorian Heart Hospital is part of the broader multidisciplinary care team and works closely with food services.

**About Us**:
This position is within the Nutrition and Dietetics Department that services Monash Medical Centre, Moorabbin Hospital and the Victorian Heart Hospital. We are a large, integrated and cohesive team that is empowered and supports each other to deliver patient-centred, effective and evidence-based care. Travel and work between Monash Health sites is required.

**About You**:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

- Experience in acute dietetics and enteral nutrition,
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills
- Excellent group facilitation skills
- Confident communication that escalates care, articulates handover and discharge plans
- Demonstrated accountability whilst working autonomously
- Critical Care competency preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute experience preferred

**Mandatory requirements**
- eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia;
- eligibility for Accredited Practising APD membership;
- Availability to work after hours (evenings to 9pm) to facilitate cardiac rehabilitation
- 2 Clinical Referees (inclusive of your direct line Manager)
- Current Drivers Licence
