Conference and Event Organiser

Located halfway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane Corridor, Xzibit started as a humble side hustle in 2005 with just a laptop, cardboard file-o-fax and (we are embarrassed to admit) instant coffee. After many years of creating bespoke exhibitions, educational spaces and retail environments for Australian and global brands, Government agencies, councils and tourism attractions, Xzibit has built a strong reputation for creativity and excellence.

The team continues to grow and after a number of upgrades to our shed (and coffee machine), we have now moved into our own purpose-built office & warehouse facility. We work hard, we’ve got each other’s backs and we love to have a bit of fun too; as our regular darts tournaments and beer taps can attest

We’re now on the hunt for a motivated and experienced Event Organiser to join our team on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director, no two days will be the same. Some of your key responsibilities would include:

- Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and outline packages available
- Coordinating services, equipment, signage
- Negotiating type and costs of services

Our next champion team member will have:

- A minimum diploma level qualification in relevant field
- At least 2 years full time work experience in similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills

Market salary will be paid starting from $60,000 plus superannuation

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- LUSCOMBE, QLD 4207: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
