**About the role**
- Follow directions from the Production Supervisor and Production Team Lead so that our production program meets our customer's needs in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all products, processes, and ingredients are handled with care using Good Manufacturing Practices and in accordance with appropriate Food Quality programs.
- Ensure that relevant Dangerous Goods regulations are complied with (in conjunction with the Project and Quality Coordinator)
- Keep appropriate records such as Batch Sheets to ensure quality and HACCP compliance.
- Work as a team member giving assistance and motivation to other members of the team.
- Recommend and assist in organising training programs required to meet objectives.
- Pro-actively become familiar with Company procedures and requirements, as well as the individual requirements of other employees and of our customers.
- Be involved with continuous improvements
- Operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous operation.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Always adhere to company policies and regulations.

**About you**:

- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Motivated and committed team player with a positive can-do attitude
- English proficiency skills, both written and oral
- Customer oriented and trouble shooting skills to adapt/respond to different types of production challenges
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and ability to use your initiative
- Focus on safety first and demonstrate a high level of hygiene awareness and adherence to HACCP requirements
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 15 kgs regularly and perform manual tasks
- Current Forklift License advantageous
