**We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant to join their maintenance team in Rocklea**
- $32 per hour
- Permanent position
- Day shift 6am to 2.30pm

**Potential employees MUST have experience in high-speed food processing, packaging or pharmaceutical operations and possess a keen understanding of food safety requirements.**

This position is responsible for assisting the trades team with scheduled preventative maintenance, installation of new machinery and responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to ensure mínimal disruption to production output required.

**Key requirements in order to be considered for this position include**:

- Relevant work experience in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge to utilise various hand and power tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Understanding of fast paced production environment

- Can do attitude & willingness to work
- Work well in a team environment
- Outstanding communications skills

**This is an integral role, to assist with maintaining all equipment for supporting the day-to-day production requirements of the business. Including but not limited to - all service, fault finding, trouble shooting, diagnoses, installations and repairs etc.**
