Trade Assistants

The Position

This role is hands-on and requires someone with a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. The successful candidate will work closely with leading hands to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Positions are available at our manufacturing sites in South Australia, Queensland, and Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct switchboard frameworks as per the mechanical drawings.

- Ensure the base frame aligns with the drawing and meets the inspection checks.

- Safely and carefully install switchgear

- Materials and components are inspected for quality and quality before construction.

- Verify that the equipment/stock being used is as per the drawing.

- Use of general hand tools.

The Candidate

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and grow within the electrical trade. The ideal candidate will be a team player, demonstrate strong communication skills, and have the ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining a high standard of work.

The successful applicant will preferably have:

- White Card (Construction Induction)

- Trade Assistant or labouring experience (desirable but not essential)

- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

- Basic understanding of tools, equipment, and safety requirements

Schedule

- Full-time and casual positions available: Monday – Friday & with overtime.

- Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).
