UGL Defence was recently awarded the Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels Network. We are recruiting a HSE Advisor to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
- This is a unique opportunity to join Tier 1 services provider on a long-term, operations and maintenance contract, within the defence sector.

**The Role**

Led by an Operations Supervisor, the following roles will be based at Swartz Barracks in Oakey QLD, supporting the major fuel installation.
- Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base
- Work closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel
- Deliver the fuel to the designated fuel point i.e., refuelling point, aircraft on the runway etc
- Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft
- Communicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experience
- Support the broader operations team and perform duties within the fuel installation when required

**What you Need**

You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer. We expect the successful applicants to have the following
- HR/MC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence
- Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential
- Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded
- Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team
- Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances
- Live locally, or willing to relocate to Oakey, QLD or nearby suburbs
