**About the Role**
The VET Program Manager provides strategic leadership across all programs, ensuring educational integrity, compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and continuous improvement. This leadership role involves managing & leading assessment systems, trainer workforce capability, learner progression and strong industry and stakeholder engagement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide strategic leadership to the trainer and assessor team, driving performance, fostering professional development, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement to ensure delivery aligns with our compliance framework and quality standards.
- Manage the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS) to ensure strong industry alignment and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Maintain the Trainer Workforce Capability Matrix, supervision agreements, and Professional Development registers.
- Monitor learner progression using LMS dashboards and learner analytics, coordinating early interventions to improve learner outcomes.
- Ensure audit readiness, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and maintain strong governance reporting practices.
**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven ability to manage, lead, coach, and develop staff, ensuring workforce capabilities are strengthened and compliance documentation remains accurate and up to date.
- Strong knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2025 (or 2015), assessment system design, moderation and validation.
- Demonstrated experience leading ASQA audits, continuous improvement, and RTO quality and continuous improvement systems.
- Confident using aXcelerate (or similar) and online learning systems to leverage learner analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and operational leadership skills.
- Proven ability to lead with a tech-savvy approach, utilising digital platforms and data insights to enhance training delivery, continuous improvements and learner outcomes.
**Qualifications**
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or successor), including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502; a Diploma or degree-level Education qualification is highly desirable.
- A Diploma in Youth Work, Mental Health, Community Services, Alcohol and Other Drugs, or a related discipline.

- Proven strategic leadership of trainer and assessor teams, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing and continuously refining Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS) with strong industry alignment.
- Advanced knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2025 (or 2015) and evidence of leading ASQA audit readiness and continuous improvement systems.
- Demonstrated capability in assessment system design, moderation and validation, including implementing improvement actions and maintaining robust records.
- Ability to implement and monitor RPL practices aligned to internal policies and evidence standards.
- Data-informed decision-making using aXcelerate (or similar) and learner analytics to monitor progression and drive targeted interventions.
- Tech‑savvy leadership leveraging digital platforms, online learning systems and analytics to improve quality, compliance and learner outcomes.
- Proven ability to manage training product transitions (mapping, teach‑out, re‑enrolment, communications and registers) within national timeframes.
- Strong governance, reporting and risk awareness, including maintaining CI registers and ensuring audit-ready documentation.
- High-level stakeholder engagement skills, capturing and integrating industry feedback into TAS, delivery models and resources.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
