Our “impossible dream” - recruit two new team members who are experienced in both L&D and IR/ER. But we are realistic and would love to hear from you if you have experience in and a passion for:

- Learning and Development - we have a committed working group preparing to support and enhance the employee learning experience across our entire organisation
- Industrial/Employee Relations - yes, we have some EA negotiations looming and are also preparing to move from the Federal to the State IR environment
- HR-focussed projects - to improve existing processes, and research/source the systems, tools and techniques that add to HR’s value to the organisation

You will be pivotal in supporting and enhancing the end-to-end employee experience, from attracting our new employees into the organisation to waving them goodbye, knowing they’ll reflect positively on their employment and become great advocates for the next generation of City employees.

Strong experience in HR, supported with a formal qualification in an HR-related discipline, and an unrestricted ‘C’ class driver’s licence are essential for this role.
- Knowledge of HR-related legislation, regulations, practices, procedures and standards
- Summary of your IR/ER, R&D or generalist HR experience
- Experience in the development and implementation of HR policies, strategies and procedures

We are offering a gross salary of $81,809 - $94,523 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. But this job is so much more than the money.
- You’ll also receive 11% superannuation, and be able to co-contribute up to 5% - that’s 21% in total
