- This position is responsible for leading our Physical Performance team and supporting our players Physical Performance growth, in addition to:
- Develop the philosophies, specify the targets, outline the broad strategies, and evaluate the results, for all aspects of the physical performance department.
- Accountability for all aspects of the Club teams' physical performance, including; all aspects of injury prevention, injury management, physical development and physical performance.
- Set the direction of the Club's physical performance program and ensure all components of the medical, sports science, analytics and physical development team are aligned.
- Liaise with the coaching staff and Club management staff about the status and the future direction of the Club's physical performance program
- Liaise with the coaching staff and Club management about the physical status of the players, the injury status of players, the preparedness' of individual players and the team as whole to perform.
- Assist with appropriate intelligence gathering on all potential Club recruits.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process (in conjunction with the Coaching and Management staff) for all new appointments to the Physical Performance Department.
**About you**- Extensive experience within the Medical and Performance industries.
- Demonstrated Management experience with proven ability in leading people and teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of staff, officials, and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail with a high level of professionalism, great organisation, and time management skills with the ability to deliver multiple tasks.
- A positive and proactive approach with a strong team focus.
- High level of honesty and integrity.
- Relevant qualifications in Physiotherapy or Sports Science.
