**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our forward thinking, progressive Aged Care organisation in our Hospitality / Cleaning team, as a permanent part-time Cleaner / Housekeeper.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, thriving in a fast-paced environment where your efforts make a tangible difference to our residents.

**What you’ll do and be responsible for**:

- **Cleaning and Disinfecting**: Regularly clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.
- **Waste Management**: Dispose of waste, including both regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
- **Infection Control**: Follow strict infection control procedures, such as using appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections.
- **Stocking Supplies**: Ensure that cleaning and hygiene supplies (such as soaps, sanitizers, and cleaning agents) are adequately stocked and available for residents and staff.
- **Housekeeping & Environment**: Identify and report housekeeping and maintenance issues
- **Equipment**: Using floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys and consumables.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Experience in commercial cleaning operations in either hotel, aged care or hospital environment (Essential)
- Ability to follow procedures
- Experience working within designated timeframes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; listening, written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to apply)
