**Hours per week - 7 hours in 2 x 3.5 hour sessions**

Since 1856, The Royal Women’s Hospital (the Women’s) has been providing health services to women and newborn babies in Victoria. Today, the Women’s is one of Australia’s leading specialist public hospitals, dedicated to advocating for the health and wellbeing of women and newborns. Both at our Parkville campus, alongside our precinct partners and by supporting the affiliated research centres, the Women’s is advancing healthcare for women in maternity services and the care of newborn babies, gynaecology, women’s health and women’s cancer services.

The Women’s radiology service is a comprehensive multidisciplinary, 24-hour service providing adult and neonatal radiology modalities including the following sub-specialised services: MRI for foetal anomalies, placental disorders, adult and neonatal neurology, breast cancer, GYN, GYN/ONC indications; Breast procedures utilizing US, mammography / tomosynthesis / stereotaxis, MRI ; Diagnostic mammography, Tomosynthesis and contrast enhanced mammography

Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

- Expertise in interpretation and reporting of sub-specialty women’s and neonatal radiology imaging modalities.
- Experience in providing quality supervision and teaching of trainees in the interpretation and reporting of sub-specialty women’s and neonatal radiology imaging modalities.
- Participation in clinical radiology and multidisciplinary meetings, including presentation and interpretation of pertinent imaging findings

To be successful within this role you will ideally have:

- Sub-specialty expertise in reporting Foetal and Neonatal MRI.
- Skill in performing a range of image guided interventional procedures.

**COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement**

Please be aware that in line with the Health Minister's Covid-19 Mandatory Vaccination Order, all workers at the Women's regardless of role, will be required to be fully vaccinated (3 doses) for COVID-19 or hold an acceptable medical exemption.

**Influenza Vaccination Requirement**

In line with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, some health care workers are now required to have their flu vaccination to work in health care. Evidence of vaccination is required.

As this role fits into category C of the departments risk ratings, applicants are strongly encouraged (although not required) to be vaccinated against influenza.

All applicants will be required to provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status.
