We are seeking an **experienced** casual receptionist who is fast learning and is enthusiastic in offering a high level of service and patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reception duties, including handling incoming calls, managing the doctor's appointments, greeting patients, liaising with other staff.
- Administrative duties, including patient billing, managing practice correspondence either electronically or paper based.
- Highly proficient skills in typing and data entry
- Excellent prioritising and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- An empathetic nature
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure

**Essential Criteria**:

- Must have previous medical reception experience with medical software knowledge, preferably **Best Practice**:

- Exceptional understanding of Medicare billing and compliance
- Excellent customer service skills within an office-based environment
- Ability to prioritise and organise effectively in a busy environment
- Work as a team and autonomously
- Be Enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aberfoyle Park, SA 5159: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
