We are currently seeking an experienced **WHS Coordinator** to support one of our key infrastructure projects in the Hunter Valley. The focus of this role will be to offer support, advice and mentoring to our site management teams. This will assist in ensuring the effective implementation of the Integrated Management System and the achievement of our strategic objectives.

**To be considered you will have**:
**Mandatory**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent experience);
- Experience with incident investigation (ideally ICAM or Taproot);
- Extensive in-field experience working in similar Civil construction
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with managers, executive and staff to achieve business outcomes;
- Current Driver’s License;
- Construction Induction Training (White Card or equivalent);
- Subcontractor management experience;
- Experience in implementing systems in accordance with AS4801
- Experienced in conflict resolution;
- Competent computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Ability to problem solve and assist with making practical decisions in a high stress environment;
- Ability to consult and influence throughout all levels
- Ability to interpret legislation and related standards;
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and be on call as required, and
- Experience influencing safety Behaviors throughout all levels of the project team

**Preferable**:

- Lead Auditor Qualified (WHS Management Systems);
- Qualifications/Experience in Risk Management Processes or similar;
- Certificate IV Training and Assessing
