**About the role**

We are currently recruiting for a Disability Support Worker to provide ongoing support to a participant on a 1:1 capacity. The shifts available include 8-11am Monday-Friday, 3-5pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and occasional weekend shifts as required by the participant. Participant may require support with personal care, transportation, community access, activities of daily living and independent living skills.

**About you**

As a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated experienced Disability Support you will have a passion to make a difference to the lives of the people you support by providing quality individual supports. You will have experience building strong rapport and implementing support plans including behaviour support plans.
- Experience supporting people with Behaviours of Concern
- Experience supporting participants who use alternative communication methods including Key Word Sign
- An ability to support participants to meet their personal goals, with daily living tasks and independent living skills
- An understanding of Autism including sensory needs and behaviours
- Experience writing accurate and detailed case notes
- First Aid Certificate
- Drivers Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- Legal working rights in Australia

- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cranbourne VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
