**Role Overview**:
As a **Disability Support Worker**, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and independence. Your role will include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, community engagement, and daily living activities. You’ll work in a team environment to ensure participants feel supported, respected, and valued.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist participants with personal care, grooming, and dressing.
- Support meal planning, cooking, and household tasks like cleaning and laundry.
- Transport participants to appointments, activities, and community outings.
- Encourage social engagement and participation in community events.
- Provide support with medication management and daily routines.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants.

**Essential Requirements**:

- **Driver’s License**: Valid Australian driver’s license.
- **WWCC**: Valid Employee Working with Children Check.
- **NDIS Worker Screening**: NDIS Worker Screening ID number (linked to Easy Living Care Solutions in PRODA).
- **First Aid & CPR**: Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- **COVID-19 Vaccination**: Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination.
- **Car Insurance & Registration**: Comprehensive car insurance and valid car registration (if using your vehicle for work purposes).

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse backgrounds.
