**About the role**
We are growing our consulting services and have an opportunity for a Health, Safety and Mental Health and Wellbeing (HSW) professional to join the team. This varied consulting role might suit someone with either health and safety or mental health and wellbeing experience who wants to further develop their knowledge and career in this space.
With flexible and hybrid working options, as well as training and development to support this role, this could provide the perfect opportunity for you to develop and elevate your career within a highly respected organisation.
For those in the early stages of their career, the role will focus on basic to moderate enquiries in relation to health and safety and mental health and wellbeing legislation, regulation and best practice. Full training and support will be provided.
For more experienced professionals, the role is responsible for providing high quality consulting services including verbal and written advice to Victorian Chamber members and clients in all aspects of health and safety and mental health and wellbeing advice and services.
**About you**
As a passionate professional with advanced communication skills you will possess any of the following:
- Minimum diploma level qualification plus minimum five years’ work experience in health and safety or mental health and wellbeing consulting or a related area;
- Demonstrated experience in providing health and safety or mental health and wellbeing consulting services across a broad range of industries
- Commercially minded with an ability to seek, recognise, develop and convert new consulting opportunities;
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex and specialised issues and communicate them in a user-friendly manner;
- Broad knowledge how state and federal legislation impacts mental health in the workplace (e.g., safety, IR, workers’ compensation);
- Demonstrated experience and the ability to work flexibly across OHS, mental health and workers’ compensation services is highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills;
Allied health professionals with a background in occupational rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.
