We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Clinical Manager to guide our teams in our Universal Aftercare program - Care Connect across the Central Coast, Greater Newcastle, Upper Hunter and Manning regions. **This role can be Central Coast of Greater Newcastle based depending on the preference of the applicant.**
Care Connect is a non-clinical support service focused on providing psychosocial support to people experiencing a suicidal crisis or who have attempted suicide. The service is designed to increase access and engagement with care to prevent further suicidal behaviour and/or self-harm.

This role gives you an opportunity to:
- establish the Care Connect program into the Central Coast and Greater Newcastle regions to improve the care and support received by people after a suicide attempt
- guide a multidisciplinary team in providing evidence-based best practice
- expand your network by collaborating with a range of community-based organisations

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, i.e. psychology, mental health nursing or social work (with mental health accreditation) and relevant professional registration e.g. AHPRA, AASW.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and building stakeholder relationships and an understanding of the community services landscape across the identified service regions
- A high level of organizational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Outstanding relationship, negotiation and conflict management skills
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable people and an understanding of recovery principles to guide a team providing high quality, customer-centered supports
- At least two years’ experience in leading a mental health / suicide aftercare program and work force
- At least four years’ experience in a clinical mental health setting
