**The opportunity**

Stepping into this new role, you will establish your team, lead, and drive our Risk, IT Testing, IT Commercial, and Emergency Management Advisory services to ensure they consistently deliver outstanding value and exceed customer expectations. This role will facilitate a customer-centric culture within the team, foster a high-performance environment, and ensure that our technology partners and contracts are effectively led to maximize value. The role will encompass the ongoing oversight, measurement, and continual improvement of frameworks, systems, and procedures, and improving operations across the business through the provision of effective and efficient enabling services.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for leading the introduction and continuous revision and improvement of relevant frameworks, toolkits, and systems and reporting across the portfolio
- Ensure that risk mitigation and management models are appropriate, pragmatic, and maintained
- Provide cross business leadership to ensure ongoing integrity and security of our business and supports integration of new approaches into the service delivery environment
- Ensure effective technology testing services of internal systems and external systems is routinely scheduled, review preferred supplier and contractor management
- Develop the team and set individual performance goals, development plans and critical metrics

**Skills & Experience**
- Senior leadership experience in a management or advisory role covering IT or Risk, & Emergency Management sectors would be highly regarded
- Experience in leading, coaching and developing teams
- Proven track record in working across a portfolio practice following governance, and assurance methodologies with a focus on delivering the best value for money and providing both resilience and future proof pathways for the enterprise
- Effective interpersonal skills complemented by the ability to successfully collaborate, negotiate, network and influence
