**The Opportunity**
Due to sustained growth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is rapidly developing its cyber security capabilities to meet the needs of an ever-changing world.
We are now recruiting for a number of positions across multiple programs across senior, intermediate and junior levels. The programs we are recruiting are:
- Governance and Compliance
- Risk and Threat
- Architecture
- Operations
Opportunities are based in the following locations:
- Brisbane
- Williamtown
- Adelaide
Relocation costs may be covered for successful applicants.
- Boeing Defence Australia offers a flexible work/life balance including work from home opportunities; however employees must be able to attend the office on a weekly basis.
- Part time, Full time and return to the workforce opportunities are considered.
**Common experiences include**
- Knowledge of (or ability to learn about) Australian Defence Security Policy Framework and associated standards such as Australian Cyber Security Centre Information Security Manual (ISM).
- Understanding of (or interest in learning about) developing and implementing information security practices in an engineering environment.
- Policy advice and documentation.
**Attributes**
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex security concepts to a broad and diverse audience.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to learn.
- Work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Existing security clearances are well regarded.
**Responsibilities**
Working in the BDA Information & Cyber Security Capability, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a number of exciting and innovative programs, working across air, land, sea and space, while bringing your information security expertise to bear on world class Defence capabilities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Interfacing with our customer on all matters relating to information security and Cyberworthiness.
- Delivering sound and timely information security design advice.
- Recommending technological or procedural solutions to meet security control intent in support of engineering projects.
- Assessing implementation of controls and performing gap analysis.
- Conducting threat and risk assessments.
