**About the Role**

The Trust and Foundations Manager will be responsible for identifying and researching new grant opportunities and mapping pipeline activity, to support this incredible foundation in building effective long-lasting relationships with potential supporters.

You will nurture existing relationships with a range of funders and will provide the highest level of stewardship. With exceptional writing skills, this person will take the Trusts & Foundations programme to the next level through high level submissions, working with the world class hospital teams to develop cases of support to fund critical needs.

The position plays a crucial role in the organisation and is responsible for collaborating with teams within both the foundation and the hospital to clearly understand and identify areas of need.

The role is responsible for securing funding from a range of sources through end-to-end grant management to include prospecting, coordinating, writing, submitting and acquitting grants.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the growth and development of the pipeline for the Trust and Foundation programme
- Identify and research suitable new funding sources and opportunities
- Manage existing relationships with donors, providing the highest level of stewardship and donor care
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the hospital and the foundation to ensure funding priorities are managed and relevant information is sourced
- End to end management of the funding process from prospecting through to acquittals and relationship management
- Report on both the pipeline and current Trust & Foundations programme

**Skills and experience**
- Demonstrated experience of building and managing both Trust & Foundations pipelines and programme
- Highest levels of written communication skills and a proven ability to write compelling, successful grants, transforming text from words and figures into a meaningful messaging
- Proven experience and ability to build long lasting, meaningful relationships with funders
- Ability to build connections with a range of internal stakeholders to identify funding needs and gather information needed to compose compelling cases for support
- High levels of attention to detail, numeracy skills and budget and reporting capability
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and establish priorities in order to achieve financial targets
