Join a global business as their Client Operations Manager, joining the team in South Sydney in a pivotal leadership role, utilising your people management and customer relationship skills to manage day-to-day operations for a key client account.

**Your new role**

In your new role as Client Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Leadership of the operations team, ensuring high levels of performance across the board and delivery of services to the customer in line with agreed standards, within necessary regulations.
- Ensuring appropriate staffing levels across shifts of both permanent and contracted team members, coaching team members, developing junior managers, and serving as the key point of escalation for issues, resolving matters in collaboration with the ops team and customer.
- Developing a culture of rigorous safety standards, running reports across key operational metrics and reporting findings to the leadership team at quarterly business reviews.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role, successfully managing day-to-day operations, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and OH&S policies.
- Exposure to freight, security, logistics, or any other, highly regulated industry will be highly regarded, with relevant tertiary qualifications a plus.
- Experience leading large teams (up to 100 staff), and training, developing, and motivating a diverse workforce across multiple shifts.
