A very exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of Development Services within the Built and Natural Environment Division.

To provide technical support to the Development and Compliance Business Unit and other business units in the City relating to landscape matters.

The City is offering this great opportunity for a motivated Landscape Officer who is a team player and embraces working in a dynamic and evolving environment.

The successful applicant will possess the following;
- Tertiary qualifications (or significant progression towards completion of) Horticulture, Business Management, Landscape Architecture, or lesser qualifications with substantive equivalent experience; or relevant work experience.
- Experience in assessment of subdivision Public Open Space and development landscape plans.
- Assessment of development proposals (landscaping)
- Assessment of strategic planning proposals i.e. local and District Structure plans and knowledge of Local Government strategic plans and frameworks;
- Proficient in Autodesk Autocad.
- Sound organisational and time management skills;
**Salary**:$85,344.91 - $100,400.09 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
