This exciting Federal Organisation, based out of Hobart, is currently looking for a professional IT Support Officer to join their IMT (Information Management Technology) team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to both the Federal Government and Sciences.

**Your new role**

As an IT Support officer, you will be the first point of contact and provide Level 1 technical support to their staff both locally and nationally. You will provide onsite desktop support as well as assisting in the setup of various IT related peripherals. You will also operate in the Service Desk being the first point of call for clients, and responsible for the logging, management and resolution of IT issues using remote desktop technology. If you are unable to resolve the issue, you will also be responsible for escalation to second and third level supports when necessary.
