The Arnotts Group are seeking a Machine Operator for the afternoon shift at our Virginia site. This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems and has the competency to run machinery and equipment.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Setting up, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within Arnott’s OH&S, Quality and Performance Standards
- Production activities associated within the rostered position with reasonable requests for overtime when required
- Cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas
- Other duties as directed within the skills and experience of the successful applicant

**Ingredients to be successful**:

- Previous machine operating experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a Team
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to troubleshoot on machines
- An understanding of team, safety, and quality operating principles
- Effective communication skills
- A continuous improvement mindset
- The ability to manual handle up to 20kg
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day, 5 days a week 2.20pm - 10.20pm
