Department: Manufacturing - ANZ- Location: Virginia, AU, 4014- Job Function: Supply Chain - ANZ- Employment Type: Full timeWe have an exciting opportunity for a Packing Machine Operator based in Virginia on afternoon shift. This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems and has the competency to run machinery and equipment.

As a**_ Machine Operator _**your responsibilities will include:

- Setting up, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within Arnott’s OH&S, Quality and Performance Standards
- Production activities associated within the rostered position with reasonable requests for overtime when required
- Cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas
- Other duties as directed within the skills and experience of the successful applicant
- The ability to manual handle up to 20kg

- A strong commitment to safe working practices
- A working knowledge of production and systems
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day, 5 days a week 2.20pm - 10.20pm
- Demonstrated ability to operate various pieces of equipment in a plant
- A proven history of following work instructions, procedures and policies
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
- Numerical skills
- A strong commitment and demonstrated ability to meet quality and food safety standards
- The ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision as well as work effectively within a team environment
- Demonstrate the ability to take on leadership tasks
- High levels of punctuality and attendance
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Able to complete a full medical and mechanical aptitude testing upon request
