About The Role
Deaf Connect is seeking a driven Team Leader to ensure the use of best practice to design, develop and deliver courses in
and
foundation skills
and individual support
for Deaf and hard of hearing adults.
The Team Leader, Foundation
Skills will
effectively manage the day to day running of the foundation skills courses
, including
the delivery of the
Certificate
III
in Individual Support
project
through consultation with and direction of the Manager, RTO.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Foundation Skills and Certificate III courses, inclusive of managing course delivery, ensure course accessibility, develop and monitor trainer work schedules and performance and ensure trainers receive adequate support and training.
Coordinate and support with the design, development and review of training, learning and assessment and course materials across Foundation Skills courses
Fulfill reporting obligations as per our funding contracts
Ensure compliance as per ASQA standards, ISO 9001 Quality Management system as well as ensuring aa contractual obligations are met
Maintain learning management system
Explore expansion opportunities for courses to deaf students in other states, provide recommendations regarding additions to our scope as well as grant and funding opportunities.
About You
Demonstrate experience working in vocational education including knowledge of Australian Quality Framework (AQF) and the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015.
Have excellent organisational and time management skills
Have the ability to develop, plan, implement and manage multiple projects
Have strong interpersonal skills
Have strong attention to detail
Have strong written and signed or spoken communication skills
