Contracts Specialist

Experienced in post award contract management including performance and supplier management and periodic supply agreements.
My client has an immediate requirement for Contracts Specialists to work across maintenance and parts, heavy mobile equipment, drill rigs and labour hire services.
**The Role**
As the Contracts Specialist you will hold responsibility for Maintenance contracts.
- Guides, supports and assists during source to contract with technically commercially complex engagements
- Provide a full service contracts support
- Guides, supports and assists with pre and post award requirements for engagements which are technically and commercially complex
- Proactively seeks out and influences the realisation of value for money procurement outcomes.
- Ensures market engagements are conducted in a timely, commercially astute and compliant manner.
- Valued by the business as a trusted procurement professional who achieves excellent procurement outcomes.
- Excellent pre-award sourcing, procurement and contracting skill experience including a demonstrated ability to undertake market research, perform cost analysis, prepare Procurement Plans and Sourcing Strategies.
- Experienced in post award contract management including performance and supplier management
- Demonstrated experience and awareness of contracts and procurement in an infrastructure asset operations or maintenance environment
- Experience of maintenance and services contracts including but not limited to civils, electrical services.
- Degree qualified within a relevant discipline.
- Experience of working for a large complex organisation within a sustaining capital and/or maintenance contracts environment
- Experience within construction or mining, highly regarded
- Experience with periodic supply agreements, highly regarded
