**About the Role**
The School Administrative Manager is responsible for the efficient management of school financial and administrative systems, as well as supervision and training of school administration officers. Manages the provision of support for school activities and routines, including student welfare and wellbeing, and works with the school principal, the school executive and teaching staff as required.
**Essential Requirements**
- Working with Children Check Clearance
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake First Aid training.
- Administration of Medications - training to be provided based on student needs.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.- Capacity to supervise staff.- Demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative, organise resources and meet deadlines.- Demonstrated ability to undertake financial and accounting responsibilities including use of computerised financial/administrative systems.- Effective oral and written communication skills.- Demonstrated ability to manage an office.- Ability to interact with school staff, students and members of the school community.- Knowledge of and commitment to the department’s Aboriginal education policy

Bayside High School will be a 7-12 coeducational school located in Kogarah, Sydney. The school will combine the currently co-located James Cook Boys Technology High School and Moorefield Girls High School from 2026. The successful applicant will support substantive Principal in planning to the new co-educational school across both current sites for an operational start to the school from Term 1 2026. Bayside High School is estimated to commence with approximately 1,000 students. The school community is culturally and linguistically diverse. Over 75% of students have a non-English speaking background, with a large proportion accessing English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) support. Less than 2% of all students identify as being from an Aboriginal background. The school will have a capacity of 1650 students once combined. The two high schools combining to form Bayside High School have enjoyed strong reputations in the local area. Staff entitlement for both the Boys and Girls High Schools, excepting current Principals and School Administrative Managers (SAMs), will be maintained until the end of 2027.
