We are looking to fill an existing position for a Quantity Surveyor in the Melbourne location. This applicant will be a hardworking and driven individual who continues to deliver results.

The successful applicant will report to senior management on a daily basis, some of the following tasks are as follows:

- Costing and Tendering
- Reporting
- Supporting the Project Manager
- Contract Administration duties
- Prepare preambles, schedule of rates, bills of quantities and other tender documentation for competitive tendering for projects. Provide benchmark check estimates prior to receipt of tenders.
- Re-measure quantities from AFC / as-built drawings in accordance with contract method of measurement. Identify and agree any star rates required.
- Verify variation order requests and negotiate/agree value of variation orders. Analysis of any claims.
- Monitor and report on cost for the duration of projects.
- Determine final costs of projects.
- Man-hour and cost analysis.
- Verification of physical progress calculation and value of work done.
- Validation of Contractor progress payment

To be considered for this position the successful applicant will need to have the following qualifications or skills:
Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or higher in the relevant field,

Or

A minimum of 5 years experience in the field will substitute for the formal qualification

Registration and Licensing is required
