About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Sustainability Manager to join our growing business and help us achieve our important sustainability goals.

As the National Sustainability Manager, you will help drive the implementation of our Sustainability Strategy including the development of a net-zero strategy in line with Science Based Target Initiatives (SBTi).

You will work collaboratively with enthusiastic internal business units, functional teams and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, support initiatives and create value.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and drive the implementation of the Service Stream Sustainability Strategy. Track, review and report on progress towards goals internally and externally.
- Measure sustainability performance though analysis and assurance.
- Assist in developing a net zero strategy and setting achievable science-based sustainability targets for implementation in collaboration with business units and functional teams.
- Incorporate sustainability objectives into business and operational planning processes.
- Support projects and contract to achieve ISC ratings.
- Coordinate submissions and reporting for benchmarking, including SBTi, National Greenhouse Emissions Reporting scheme (NGERs) and other Client reports such as CDP.
- Develop employee awareness and promote a culture of commitment to the Sustainability Strategy through the development of induction and awareness programs, guidance materials and resources, and reports.
- Prepare reports, briefings and other communication to inform on the Strategy’s progress and achievements, both internally and externally, such as the annual Sustainability Report.

About you

You will be a passionate and motivated Sustainability Manager with a proven track record of successfully implementing and driving sustainability strategy and initiatives. You will have experience in measuring and reporting progress, including the development of annual sustainability and NGERS reports. You will have a strong understanding of the ISC rating program and be able to support projects and contracts to achieve ratings. Ideally you will have a solid understanding and interest in the Science Based Targets Initiative program, including how to develop and implement a net-zero strategy in alignment with SBTi. You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and be able to build trusted, collaborative relationships.
