Posted on 10th April, 2025Birali Steiner School is situated at our purpose built, 26 acre site in Beachmere and is experiencing strong growth, with accreditation for Prep to Class 10. As a developing school, the requirement of flexibility is seen as an essential component of the position.

The position will be 23.5hr per week over 5 days, with Tue & Thu after school supervision support (1.5 - 2hr each). It is a Fixed Term Part-time, Term Time only role (plus required staff training days each term break), with initial placement in the High School. The role will be fixed term to December 2025 with the possibility of permanent thereafter.

**Required Attributes**
- Certificate III in Education Support or higher
- Current Blue card
- Availability: Mon, Wed, Fri 8.30am to 2.30pm; Tue & Thu 8.30am to 5pm
- Experience supporting children in classroom learning (particularly strong math & science support skills)
- Experience supporting children with learning difficulties and supporting student engagement
- First Aid & CPR certificate (or a willingness to engage in the required training)

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Experience in Steiner Education preferred but not essential
- Experience with Classroom Support and Engagement, particularly math support
- Experience and willingness to engage with students of all ages from Prep to Class 10
- Covering letter addressing the Required Attributes and Key Selection Criteria above
- A Curriculum Vitae addressing the Required Attributes including:

- Places of employment in order from most recent to least recent.
- An outline of qualifications

The role is Level 3 Classroom support services (grade 3) under the Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020 with a current pay rate of $30.69 per hour (Birali pays above award rates). The annual salary would equate to 38 Term weeks + 4 weeks Annual Leave; paid fortnightly over 26.09 fortnights (annualised).
