**EMu Data Cleansing Officer**

**About the Role**

The EMu Data Cleansing Officer is a crucial role that sits within the ICT Collection Systems team. This role is offered on a full-time ongoing basis. The Collections Systems Team manages EMu to provide effective management and access to the Australian Museum's diverse collection of over 22 million biological, geological and cultural objects.
- Role Description

You will be paid a competitive annual salary of $67,976 - $73,901, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 10.5%) and annual leave loading.

**About You**

We are seeking a unique professional with great attention to detail, a passion for data and a growth mindset to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Your Knowledge & Experience**
- Experience and expertise in data cleansing, preferably in a museum or natural history context.
- Data management experience including implementation of data standards, databasing and data import.
- Knowledge of large museum datasets preferably of both cultural and taxonomic nature.
- Prior experience with EMu will be an advantage.
