Priceline, Australia's leading beauty, health and wellbeing retailer is looking to appoint a career driven Category Assistant for Skincare. This is a key portfolio for the Priceline business and offers opportunity for career progression.

Based at the Camberwell Support office the Category Assistant will have close working relationships with the Category Manager and cross-functional teams, supporting the achievement of the category goals via end to end process management and focus on the strategic category plan.

**About the Role**:

- Review master data to ensure correct pricing master data is maintained and margins are maintained
- Ensure the timely and accurate supply of data to drive financial reporting
- Engagement with suppliers to ensure accuracy of master data and claims income and facilitate loading of scan deals to ensure correct margin
- Maintain a view of routine reporting and data to identify and resolve issues,
- Perform an integral role within the cross-functional category team to ensure compliance to end-to-end Category Management processes, including range review, competitive price checks, supplier and article on-boarding & exit, financial planning, store communications etc., as applicable to the role
- Administration of key promotional activations (accurate pricing, scan and promo deal activation) and catalogue checks to ensure accuracy and zero compliance issues
- Be involved in and support Category Managers develop a Category Plan which aligns with the Priceline Beauty strategy and sees innovation meeting customers’ needs consistently across the category
- Build strong win/win relationships with Supplier Partners, to support achievement of the Category Plan
- Actively seek out opportunities to ensure Priceline has a point of difference from other retailers and exclusivity in the range

**About you**:
- Desirable - Tertiary Qualification (Business, Marketing or Retail)
- Desirable - Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Category Assistant, with a strong category management background
- A passion for Category Management
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities while delivering exceptional work within the required timeframes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to provide clear instruction and guidance to others helping them to understand process and the actions required to implement process
- Flexible and maintain a positive outlook toward change
