As a casual entry-level disability support worker, you will be an integral part of our team that implements our model of care for our participants. Our team is composed of professionals with training in education, social work, disability and occupational therapy. The role suits students who are seeking experience in the disability, health, education and social work fields.

The position is in a home environment with a unique program based on the sensory needs, preferences, capacity building, and integration into the civic life of participants of the NDIS.

Working in a multi-disciplinary team environment, you are responsible for meeting individuals’ physical, emotional and psychological well-being. This involves documenting trends (including behavioural) that form the evidence required to collaborate with the social and medical models. Including the NDIS to maximise the person’s capacity and participation and minimise restrictive practices.

You will be working in group homes or in single occupancy.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
