About the Role
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides contemporary operational and professional nursing leadership for the QVAD Support Service. The role shapes clinical and corporate governance; and provides the coordination of service delivery, human and material management, expertise in health care team communication and highly developed data analysis and fiscal management to deliver safe, quality, effective and efficient healthcare provision. This role ensures that QVAD Support Service staff work with the regulatory framework prescribed in the Queensland Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2021. The ADON will lead the achievement of the above objectives.
