The Regulatory Communications Specialist is an integral member of the Regulatory and Project Customer Communications team, providing advice and support to the team Manager and key Project stakeholders to develop and execute customer communication requirements.
This is a diverse and varied role, working within a team of experienced marketing and communications professionals.
What you’ll be doing (Main key responsibilities)
- Leading and managing the execution of end-to-end communications strategies for regulatory and operational projects.
- Representing customer communications on project working groups and other stakeholder sessions to ensure requirements are met and customer outcomes are considered.
- Managing activity within budget, as agreed with internal stakeholders and delivering value for spend.
- Promoting positive and professional relationships with internal stakeholders, colleagues and external vendors.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of AGL’s values and code of conduct in day-to-day business.
About You
What you’ll bring to the table:
You will have a curious growth mindset and gentle determination to provide customer communications that are simple and easy to understand while being ‘human’ for our customers. You will be proactive, solution focused and able to effectively adapt in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to keep the customer front of mind in all communications will ensure your success in this role.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing campaign and/or customer communications planning and execution.
- Understanding of communications development, campaign management & implementation and production processes.
- A strong and ever-growing understanding of the marketing function across a range of mediums and channels, including digital.
- Self-starter, experienced in managing multiple high-profile projects simultaneously.
- Ability to plan and implement initiatives quickly, to respond to regulatory requirements and competitor or market opportunities.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and nurture relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
