We have an exciting opportunity for a GIS graduate to kick-start their career and join our growing operations in Brisbane or Mackay. You'll gain exposure to a wide array of experiences and pick up essential on-the-job tools and skills to help you advance onto the next stage of your career adventure.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:
- Corporate spatial data collation and maintenance.- Spatial analysis across raster & vector datasets.- High-quality project maps including 3D Data Visualisation.- Mobile GIS and web mapping/app support.- Assist the Aurecon Geospatial team to deliver high quality work in projects.

Your adventure essentials: what you’ll bring
- As you embark on your career journey, we’re looking for people who are eager to learn, collaborate, and bring fresh thinking to the table. You’ll come with:
- A relevant degree (or expected completion) in Engineering/Spatial Science/Environmental Science/Survey/Database programming/Geography, with a focus on GIS, or in Computer Science with a strong interest in GIS.- An analytical mindset and the ability to solve complex problems with creative, practical solutions.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and engage with clients.- A passion for making an impact and driving positive change.- A thirst for learning, growth, and gaining new experiences.
