**Will include**: - Lead small teams in the management of media issues or public affairs projects and in the preparation and production of publications.- Prepare and implement communication, media or marketing plans.- Liaise with Queensland Police Service (QPS) employees, media representatives and representatives of other government departments to provide efficient dissemination of information and promotion of relevant QPS information inside the Service and to the public.- Assist in developing and delivering media and communication training courses for members of the QPS.- Provide policy direction and advice on day-to-day media and public affairs issues to subordinate staff.- Prepare material for use in media campaigns, publicity programs and internal information campaigns.- Assist in the preparation of news releases, speech notes, talking points and briefing material for use by members of the QPS executive and the Minister's office.
