**ABOUT US**

Abdex is seeking an experienced Uniflex Service Technician to join the growing team at our HQ in Dandenong South, Vic.

Abdex Industries is a global leading manufacturer of specialist hose assemblies with manufacturing and testing facilities in QLD, VIC, WA, NSW, Singapore and the UK.

Abdex predominantly service the Oil & Gas, Hydraulic and Mining Industries. Our facilities are equipped with assembly, testing and servicing equipment as well as providing proof pressure testing, hose inspection and management services.

Abdex is the major distributor of the complete range of German made Uniflex Crimping machines and accessories, which we stock, sell and service all over Australia.

**THE ROLE**

The job role will focus on the development and servicing of our Uniflex range of Hose Assembly machinery while also building relations with our existing client base directly and via our sales team nationally.

While being based at our office in Dandenong South, It will involve travel nationally as the role develops.

You will be responsible for:

- Servicing and customer support of Uniflex Hose Assembly Equipment
- Problem solving and liasing with Uniflex Germany Engineering Team
- Providing technical support to customers and sales team when required.
- Promotion and marketing of our Uniflex range of Hose Assembly Machinery including Crimpers, Cut Off Saw, Pressure Test Rigs and accessories.
- Providing leads and opportunities to our regions sales staff.
- Helping grow our Hose Machinery product and spares sales.

**ABOUT YOU**

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes and experience:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. Ideally Uniflex assembly equipment (crimping machines, cutting machines and pressure test rigs.)
- Hydraulic / Electrical Experience on Similar Machines
- Use of own initiative
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Actively promote and provide consistent high-quality service to our customers
