**Role**:  Casual Educator **DIPLOMA QUALIFIED POSITION**

**Location**: GREENFIELDS

**Centre**: Goodstart Riverside Gardens

**Employment Type**: Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6:30am - 6:00pm

**Pay**: $37.59ph

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you will be a team player, who is flexible and willing to support our centres and children when and where required. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

**You’ll achieve this by**:

- Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
- Engaging and supervising the children at all times
- Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members
- Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
- Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
About Goodstart Riverside Gardens
Goodstart Early Learning Riverside Gardens WA in Greenfields is located close to local schools, shops and public transport.
We provide a warm and inviting environment for children and their families and we have a number of educators and families from different nationalities. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of care and with respect to the diversity and individuality of our families and their children. We have a passionate, experienced and qualified team of educators that are dedicated to working with children.Every room is set up in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Stimulating surrounds ensure that the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory and play-based learning. Outside, our two playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade play surfaces with sandpits, climbing equipment, open space areas as well as lots of shade.
We also develop engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual needs, interest and strengths and with each step we are ensuring that the children in our centre are ready to take the big step into schooling.We have a qualified cook who cooks fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children every day. The centre provides all meals during the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The menu is displayed in the foyer for daily viewing.
Goodstart Riverside Gardens engages families through various forms of communication, such as our intuitive Storypark platform as well as monthly newsletters and events in the centre and community. We have a family notice board which provides up to date events and workshops within the community. Each room also displays a day board outlining what the children did on that day and who the educators were.
