**Disability Support Worker**

Australian Disability Health Services is an organisation helping to support people with physical or intellectual disabilities. A leading provider of care in Australia, we have a reputation for providing our clients with support in an understanding, flexible and empathetic way.

Australian Disability Health Services is currently seeking an experienced disability support worker to provide care and support to vulnerable members of our community.

**Requirements**:
We are requiring a support worker to help our clients to live a comfortable life and achieve their goals.

Excellent English speaking and communication skills.

Perform health care tasks to support the health hygiene and general wellbeing of the client.

Take the client to appointments

Deliver programs designed to help clients to achieve their goals

Perform a range of household tasks with the client with cleaning, washing &, etc.

Has flexibility in shifts

**You will need**:
Tertiary qualifications in disability or community services

Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role

A strong desire to have a positive effect on people with disabilities, and a commitment to supporting and promoting their individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals.

Personal qualities of resilience, empathy and self-confidence, and patience

First Aid certificate / CPR certificate

Current drivers license with own transport

Police check

Working with Children Check

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $52.00 per hour
