Machine Tool Maintenance Manager

WA Industrial Cylinder Engineers is a privately owned leader in the hydraulic cylinder overhaul/manufacturing industry. Specializing in heavy mining mobile equipment hydraulic cylinders. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Maintenance Manager.

Your primary responsibility will be the service, repair, and maintenance of various equipment such as CNC lathes, borers and cylindrical grinding machines to the success of our operations. You will be accountable for the management of maintenance and preventative maintenance programs for machinery, buildings and general facilities. You will be in charge of a team of maintenance fitters, managing their daily /weekly duties and also have the existing maintenance system to enable planning and all of the above.

- **About You**:_

You are looking for a new challenge, and want long-term job security;
- Are able to manage the maintenance team, ensuring maximum productivity of the company’s assets including overhead cranes, paint booths and strip tanks.
- Have strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Have experience within our industry or are willing to undertake training to achieve experience
- Have previously repaired CNC lathes, borers and cylindrical grinding machines
- Worked a minimum of 5 years in a trade (Dual trade qualification is highly beneficial).
- Have experience in working within and supporting accredited Quality Systems (such as ISO 9001).
- Australian Driver's license C Class - as a minimum

- **Tasks**:_
- Project manage various delegated tasks under the supervision of the designated senior staff member.
- Install, align, and commission new maintenance components to machinery and equipment as per engineering specifications.
- Assemble and disassemble components and systems for maintenance and upgrades.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections to identify wear and tear, corrosion, and other potential issues.
- Work closely with other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and meet production goals.
- Rectify breakdown
- Report any safety or quality issues
- Take ownership of dedicated projects

**Salary**: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
