The Operational Risk and Compliance solution s team are responsible for the critical infrastructure that powers our risk processes across the Group. We provide intelligent, real-time and personalised experiences for our employees and the frictionless risk management processes for an agentic eco-system.

**Your Impact as Crew Tech Lead**

As Crew Tech Lead Operational Risk and Compliance, you will guide the strategic and technical direction, of a cross-functional engineering crew,. You will be responsible for delivery excellence, platform scalability and team growth within a cloud-native data and AI environment.

**What**You’ll**Do**
- Lead and manage a high-performing engineering, data and AI function, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Shape the technical roadmap for our Operational and Compliance solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise architecture.
- Oversee the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native data solutions, including real-time streaming, analytics, and AI-driven personalisation.
- Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, observability, and secure-by-design principles, across the crew’s delivery lifecycle.
- D rive reusability and platform adoption, enabling faster delivery for product teams through modular capabilities and shared services.
- Collaborate across domains to ensure platform capabilities support enterprise-wide decisioning, financial crime detection, and customer intelligence.
- Mentor and develop talent, providing technical guidance, career support, and performance feedback to crew members.

**What You Bring**
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams within large-scale, cloud-native data platform environments.
- Strong background in software engineering and platform architecture, with hands-on experience in real-time data ingestion, transformation, and operation.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to modernise legacy systems, influence technical direction, and drive platform adoption.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for growing diverse, high-performing engineering communities.
