The Terraces, a 148 bed residential aged care facility located in Varsity Lakes. It is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast, as well as several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a vast range of health and community services.

**About the role**

We are looking for a casual Lifestyle Assistant to empower and engage with our Residents to maximise their participation in Leisure and Lifestyle programs based in our Darlington home in Banora Point.

Our focus for residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants, our Activities officers facilitate this through:

- Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans
- Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
- Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs

**To be successful, you'll need**:

- Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Cert III in Aged Care (essential)
- Previous experience in Aged Care (highly desirable)
- Availability and reliability to commit to the required shifts
- Energetic and effective communicator
- Police Check
- NDIS Worker Check (valid within the last 5 years)
- Working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
- Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
