Our client is looking for an experienced Mid-Senior Structural Designer who can work in a high pressure, face pace environment working on Structural design & detailing for a large-scale Oil and Gas Refinery. If you have a strong background in Structural designing for an Oil and Gas or Mining company this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing company.
- **Attractive Salary - $70 - $95/hr + super**:

- **Office location: Port of Brisbane - Lytton**:

- **12 Months Contract - extension highly likely**:

- **M-F 8hrs/day 40 hrs/week (overtime may be required)**:

- **Start ASAP**

**Main Duties/Accountabilities**:

- Structural design & detailing.
- Design of process plant platforms, stairways, and ladders to Australian Standards.
- 3D modelling.
- Structural fabrication drawing preparation.
- Pipe support detailing.
- Updating mechanical and structural drawings.
- Field investigation & site measuring.
- Ability to interpret and use 3D laser scan point cloud data.

**Requirements**:

- High school certificate (QCE or equivalent) including technical drawing/design experience.
- AutoCAD experience.
- 3D drafting experience.
- Autodesk Advanced Steel, Plant3D & Navisworks experience an advantage.
- Cert IV Engineering Drafting preferable.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
- Mid-Senior Structural Design and Detailing experience
