- Supported by a high-performing management, estimation and delivery team

**About the role**
You will have ownership of the Business Unit, leading a small team of direct reports, supported by the senior leadership, estimation, workshop and delivery teams.

Developing the geographical reach of the business is paramount and you will put your stamp on team engagement, business development strategies and delivery capability. We will support you with P&L and cost management if needed.

**About you**
You will be a proven people leader from the civil groundworks industry, who will bring your technical knowledge and be motivated to drive the performance of a business unit. We offer a planned trajectory of growth for the business unit, and a flexible and autonomous environment where your ideas are valued.
- Demonstrated groundworks/civil industry experience
- Proven leadership skills in Business Development, Project Management, Engineering or Business Management
- Ideally P&L experience.

GDS is a Drilling and Shoring company specialising in ground anchoring, grouting, shotcrete and stabilisation systems.

Operating for over 30 years our skilled and experienced team offer a wide range of ground engineering services for clients and projects of varying scale across Australia.

Projects include filter drainage works on the Hume Dam, Barangaroo dewatering, drill and anchor installation for Transport NSW and Sydney Metro.
