About the role
Permanent Full time opportunity to undertake high-quality investigations into serious and complex health and safety incidents, inclusive of safety, occupational violence, psychosocial and fire incidents, within Metro North Hospital and Health Service
About you
- Investigate health and safety incidents effectively and efficiently, in line with organisational policies and procedures to ensure investigations deliver identified value add outcomes
- Use best practice investigation planning methodologies to ensure all available evidence is identified and sourced in an appropriate manner and appropriately documented in accordance with organisational policy
- Prepare and submit high-quality investigation reports with findings and recommendations that supported practical safety solutions in a health care environment
- Knowledge of legislative requirements within the context of managing and prioritising health and safety incidents, and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, health and safety legislation and codes of practice and occupational violence prevention in Queensland Health's Hospital and Health Services

Research and prepare correspondence, briefing notes, reports and recommendations
