We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Gelato and Dessert Bar attendant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assisting customers in making menu choices and providing recommendations
- Preparing and serving gelato, desserts, coffee and other treats with precision and attention to detail
- Operating cash registers and handling transactions accurately
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment
- Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service
- Contributing to a positive and fun work environment

**Requirements**:

- **Mandatory prior experience in a gelato or café environment**:

- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- ESSENDON, VIC 3040: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
