Dispute Resolution Officer

In this role you will manage and resolve disputes related to workers' compensation claims while identifying and implementing improvements in our technical competence and evidence-based decision-making processes. This role requires a high level of collaboration with diverse team members to ensure we achieve and maintain exceptional technical expertise and service quality across the organization.

This will be a **full time, permanent** position based in the **Adelaide **office, with flexibility to work from home.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Proactively resolving matters and work collaboratively with other claims team members to make this happen
- Participating in meetings to review workers compensation claim disputes and provide progress updates
- Ensuring instructions to our Legal Panel are provided in a timely manner
- Representing EML at the South Australian Employment Tribunal
- Critically analyse claims files and gather evidence to develop strategies for dispute resolution
- Establishing effective mechanisms for providing technical feedback (including at an individual and team level), updates and learnings

**ABOUT YOU**
- Inquisitive and always looking for effective ways to solve problems
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and ability to speak in front of groups
- The ability to collaborate and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and negotiate with and influence those stakeholders
- Experience within a legal environment is desired but not essential
